Dr. António Mbakassy Jr. began his business career more than 30 years ago as a commodities trader, working with sugar, rice, and frozen meats (beef and chicken).
After spending over 15 years in Canada and the United States, where he completed both high school and college, he graduated in Business Management from New York University (NYU) in 1991.
For the past 15 years, António has dedicated his career to banking and private equity, serving at board level with Banco Caixa Angola and Capital Group (Geneva). He developed extensive expertise in structured financing, project finance, and debt raising, leading and developing major projects across international markets.

His career has positioned him as a global executive with deep expertise in emerging markets, infrastructure, energy, and natural resources, as well as strong relationships with international investors and strategic stakeholders.

Dr. Benjamin Mosquito holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Hospitality Management from Les Roches, a Swiss institution ranked as the 2nd best in the world by QS World University Rankings.
He completed international internships in Europe and the United States, gaining experience in strategic areas of the hospitality sector.
With a strong background in corporate strategy, investment analysis, and business development, he has supported projects across Oil & Gas, Agribusiness, Mining, Aviation, and Infrastructure.
He is actively engaged in evaluating high-value acquisitions, structuring strategic partnerships, managing processes, and conducting due diligence for future ventures.
His expertise combines financial analysis, risk management, and market research, providing crucial support for strategic decision-making.
Since his return to Angola in 2024, he has been a Board Member of Broo Investimentos e Gestão de Ativos, Sooil Services, and GOPM.

Luís Filipe Maio is a senior executive with 26 years of experience in the banking sector, building a career distinguished by strategic management, organizational transformation, and leadership of complex operations. Throughout his professional journey, he has worked in leading financial institutions, holding roles of increasing responsibility and earning recognition for his ability to implement innovative and high-impact solutions.
He began his career in Portugal, where he held several management roles focused on corporate banking, portfolio management, and commercial operations. He later strengthened his expertise at Banco Comercial do Huambo as Commercial Director and at Standard Bank Angola, where he led key areas of transactional banking and process transformation. In 2023, he joined Caixa Angola as Deputy Director of Corporate Banking, a position he held until April 2025.
Currently, he serves as Director of Operations at GAM (since June 2025) and Director of Corporate Strategy at BROO (since July 2025), where he leverages his strategic vision, international experience, and leadership skills to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Italian, he is also recognized for his adaptability to multicultural environments, strong negotiation skills, the development of high-performance teams, and a results-driven mindset.

Alba Gonçalves, an accountant with a specialization in Controllership and Finance from Fundação Dom Cabral, brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic positions across Projects, Accounting, Controllership, and Finance.
Throughout her career, she has excelled in cost analysis, economic and financial feasibility studies, break-even calculations, and in leading project implementation processes.
A graduate of Universidade Católica, she is also a teacher by vocation. She served as a university professor in Brazil and currently teaches enthusiastically in Angola, contributing to the education of hundreds of management students.
In addition to her academic and corporate career, she plays an active role in the third sector as a volunteer leader at Vinha Angola, where she is dedicated to the mission of evangelizing children, combining purpose with social impact.
She currently serves on the Executive Board of BROO – Investimentos e Gestão de Ativos, a spinoff of Grupo Antônio Mosquito, contributing to the company’s strategic development.
